This is great information. Thanks for putting it out there! The very first ancestor story I ever wrote is much more biographical. I've sense moved towards the other end of the spectrum, but there is always a way to improve, I believe. And I am going to work on rewriting that first story. Thanks again, Denyse!
I have always tried to do this. Once I tried making the ancestral couple characters in a fiction story. I felt like a fraud, putting in information about thoughts and feelings that I didn't know were true. But people really responded to it, so I have done it more and more.
Now, tho, stories I think are really good get no likes, and others I think are not as interesting get comments about aspects I never thought of. Not sure what to do.
