AI Tools You’ll Learn About
We teach methods for using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools. Important:When you use these tools, you’re subject to their privacy policies. We don’t receive or store your conversations with AI services.
Our Use of AI Tools to Process Meeting Content
When Chronicle Makers hosts live meetings, cohort calls, webinars, or workshops via Zoom, we may:
Record sessions for member access and review
Generate transcripts of recorded sessions
Process transcripts through AI tools (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to create summaries, action items, and educational resources
By participating in a Chronicle Makers Zoom session, you consent to recording and AI-assisted processing of session content for educational, member-resource, and operational purposes. Summaries and educational resources derived from session content may be shared with members who attended the original session.
We do not sell session content, transcripts, or AI-generated summaries to third parties. AI tools used for processing are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. Personal information shared during sessions (names, family details, research stories) is treated as confidential and not used outside the educational context of Chronicle Makers.
Your Rights and Choices
You Control Your Data
Access and update: Log into your account to view or update your information anytime
Delete your account: Email us at hello@chroniclemakers.com and we’ll delete your data (some information may be retained for legal/accounting requirements)
Stop marketing emails: Click “unsubscribe” in any email or update your preferences
Opt out of analytics: Use browser extensions or settings to block Google Analytics
Data Security
We take security seriously:
- SSL encryption for all data transmission
- Encrypted personal email communications via Proton Mail
- Secure password storage
- Regular security updates
- PCI-compliant payment processing through trusted providers
However: No system is 100% secure. You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and reporting any suspicious activity.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as:
- Your account is active
- Needed to provide the Service
- Required by law (like tax records)
- Necessary to resolve disputes
-Meeting recordings and transcripts are retained for member access for the duration of your active membership in the relevant program (cohort, workshop, or community), plus a reasonable archive period for member reference. AI-generated summaries derived from session content may be retained as part of the Chronicle Makers educational library.
When you delete your account, we securely delete most information. Some data (like transaction records) may be retained as required by law. Note: If you delete your account, your participation in past group recordings (where multiple members appear together) cannot be selectively removed. We will remove your individual data from all systems where selective deletion is possible
Children’s Privacy
Chronicle Makers is not intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.
International Users
Chronicle Makers is based in the United States. If you’re accessing from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Special Privacy Rights

If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
